Rhododendron Lodge: The lodge has  recently undergone  a  radical  renovation project and  now  boasts:

New Luxurious  Lounge:

The lounge has  been extended  and  a  beautiful  real  gas  fire  has  been installed  with  a  kauri  fire  surround  and  two lovely matching kauri  cupboards, that  house  the TV,  the Music  centre,  books, games   and  toys. 

Two  new  luxury bathrooms:

Bathroom one:

With claw  foot  slipper bath, shower with classic  greek  tiles, copper  and brass  toilet  cistern, and rimu  wash hand  basin,  heater,  towel  heater  and  extractor  fan,  all ready for  you  to relax  with candles  a  glass  of  wine  and  relaxing music.   (All of  which are  provided).

Bathroom Two: 

Has  a  luxrouris  shower with  classic greek  tiles,  toilet  and  rimu  wash hand  basin,  extractor  fan,  heater  and towel  heater. 

New  Kitchen:  

A  new  classic  kitchen, with  porcelain butler  sink,  hob and  oven,  with an  awesome  central island and four  bar  stools,  with a  large  farm house  dinning table  that  sits 10 plus. 
Beautiful polished  rimu floors,  with  large newly  installed french doors  to  allow  indoor/outdoor flow,  on to   the  newly  built  135  square  metres  deck,  allowing  un interrupted views  to the  Tasman  mountains. 

New  Laundry:

A  new  fully fitted  laundry has  been installed, with porcelain laundry  sink, dryer  and washing machine  and fitted  cupboards. 

Bush Bath: 

A collection of  Bush  Baths  and  alfresco  showers have  been installed, to  allow  enjoyment of the  wonderful outdoor  views  and temperate  climate  that  Karamea  has  to offer.  

Landscaping:

A whole  new  private  garden  has  been created  to  allow  privacy while  in the bush  bath and  shower as  well as  encouraging  the local  bird  life  to hang around. 

Camellia Cottage:

Tastefully  reburbished, Camellia  cottage  offers  a studio room aimed at couples, but room for 2 small children too.

Rimu King sized double bed, and double bed sofa.
Full kitchen facilities, hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. dining tabel that  seats  4.  
Laundry, washing machine and dryer. 
DVD player and selection of DVDs, CD and tape player. DVD hire and broadband internet available at Information Centre.

Claw foot bath, in a  luxourious  bathroom with greek tiles, level access shower, character deluxe bathroom.

BBQ, fenced, secluded and private landscaped garden, with private bush bath and outdoor furniture, swing and love-seat.

Children catered for with high-chair, porta cot. Off street car parking facilities.Close to beach, cafe, restaurants, supermarkets, walks, bike rides, river and kayaking.  Resident pet sheep/goat/alpaca  depending on the  season, in the paddock adjoining the car park, who you can pat and feed.
