Just a note to thank you for the wonderful accommodation we had at Karamea last weekend. The house was superbly set up for little kids which was ideal as we had our fair share of rain/hail/lightning etc. The videos and lego were a real hit. Also appreciated having the portacot set up for our late arrival on the Thursday. We were very impressed.

Loved the cottage. Great time, everything we needed was here. Loved outdoor bush bath and  shower. Highly recommend beach campfire and Fenian Track Loop, super fun in caves. We will be back (K and S, Dunedin). 

After  travelling for so long pretty  much all over  the world  we  needed  to stop and relax,  we picked  the best  place  that we  could have  picked  as  everything was here  that we  required  and we relaxed for  four  very  special days.  the  area  had  so many  beautiful areas  to  visit, Kohaihai  point, the Oparara  arches  and caves, Mirror  Tarn and Fenian  track and the caves  were  smnlpy  amaxing with the  stalatights  and stalagmites  and everything was  free.  A  favourite  activity was  taking a  bottle  of  wine  (provided)  and watch the  sunsets  each evening with the   fold up  charis  also  provided.  Ander  was  great  and  was  a  great  giuide.  When  we  are  both  back in the UK in London  we will cheerish our  memories  that  we  spent  in Karamea.

Loved  the bush bath in the Lodge  viewing  the Tasman   Mountains  with a  glass  of  wine  and enya  playing, listening to the wood  pigeon and Tui.  The Lodge  was  well appointed  and very   tastefully  done with beautiful fabrics  and luxury  towels and  linen.   I loved  the  lounge  area  and it  was  large  enough  to  cater  for  all 10 of  us  really well an d had  all the  outdoor  area  with loungers. The  children  loved  the games, books  and toys  that  were  provided  and  the  videos  and DVDs  were  awesome to watch  the kids loved  the  golden oldies  provided!    We  went  kayaing in the kayaks  provided  on the Oparara  River, it  was  great  the kids  loved  it,  the  trailer  was  provided  so we  were  able  to take and collect  the  kayaks  with no issues.   All in all a great  holiday  and  just  what  we  all needed as a family  to re  group.
